Who has this on the inner lining of his convertible roof..?

My Z4M is from 2006 and now 6years old... This is how my roof looks on the inside. The picture is with the roof closed and the marks are above the wind net.



The roof lining (headliner) slightly touches de roof locking mechanism (which holds the open roof in place behind the wind net) when closing and opening the roof. This is how it looks... Is this normal wear and tear and the same on other Z4 (from building year after 2006) ? I only have 2 months of BMW warranty and I am making a list with everything that has to be checked...



Note; the mount you see is from a Go Pro camera and has nothing to do with the roof...

Mine is 8 years old, I'm not aware of any marks like that, if I was near my Zed I'd go and look but I'm not so I can't, sorry.

dont have a mark on mine and the chrome catch is shinny and grease free

My catch is not chrome - it has black plastic on it, which is peeling off at the edges... Which I suspect is wahat's making the marks. I will investigate at the weekend :?
