What if neither car has moved & they’re sitting there looking at each other though. :?

At junctions, you give way/priority to vehicles to the left...so this situation would be no different than if they’d both arrived at a crossroads at the same time.

Hmmm, but it's rare to find a crossroads with both roads having give way markings? Exceptions I can think of being box junctions.
I didn’t mention give way markings. The guideline at unmarked junctions is to give way to vehicles coming from the right.

However, if someone is in a Z4MC then they always have priority :D

Why do you ask pbr67_zed, have you had a ding ??
Not quite - I was at "B", A10 was clear and I started to go and an SUV came flying towards "A" and just carried on. I gave the ABS a test while the woman in the SUV sailed past giving me a mouthful of abuse!

I have always thought that the way the markings are meant that "B" has priority, just wanted to see what others thought.

Ah, but the crucial point here is 'woman in the SUV'.
They sail on through life with scant regard for anything other than themselves. If they ever do realise they've done something wrong, they cover their embarrassment by hurling abuse at anyone within a 3 mile radius.

(The views expressed here are my own and have no basis in fact...................your honour :D )

Bet she’s never had an accident, but seen loads of carnage in her rear view mirror

I always thought you gave way to the right, like at roundabouts. I didnt know that crossroads were different.

Highway Code rule 172 says....

172
The approach to a junction may have a ‘Give Way’ sign or a triangle marked on the road. You must give way to traffic on the main road when emerging from a junction with broken white lines across the road.

So I’d say A has priority as they are on a main road.

B because A is not on the main road, it's a dedicated right turn lane. If it had right of way, there would be no give way markings...as there are :D

I'd go for B having right of way, if there's any ambiguity I always give way to vehicles approaching from the right.
