Who else got out in their Zed today?

So our playground is Northumberland and the sky was blue and the (low) sun was out so we were out in the Zed.
Fancied a change, so headed out to find some new routes and back roads and came across some beautiful valleys and quiet backwaters.

Had to pull up here and take this photo as it reminded me of the entrance to Skyfall. . . .well it did for me. :D
Apologies, the photo was taken into the sun on my phone.

Anyone else make the most of the lovely weather today?

:driving:

There was no lovely weather down here, all murky most of the day, but I got some top down action on the way back from rugby in Canterbury anyway.

Lovely pic Paul

First time in a couple of weeks! I took her to cheddar gorge. It left the house grey, it is a two tone grey and brown car now! I went a bit off the beaten track at one point slipping and sliding on muddy single lanes ... Whoops :-p

 Yep me. Cold but sunny perfect day out, blast up to Cambridge, plenty of interior heat. Only convertible out of 20 or so, with the roof down... :-) love it

Not me........ out in the workhorse returning kitchen parts to IKEA unfortunately.
The old vectra dropped its guts coming off the A1 in newcastle and left a cloud of white smoke (unburnt diesel i think) then stated to run ok again.
I think the old girl might be trying to tell me something
Would have loved to have got the Z out. This mild winter and lack of salt on the roads is a real bonus

offroading in a Zed. Not really. :-)
It was one of those " thumbsup, cheers satnav" moments.

Poor car, and I've just moved to Bath and have yet to find a petrol station that actually has a jetwash, other than driving around ten miles for one. My jet wash and snowfoam is obsolete now I've moved into an apartment :'(

Cleaned, fuelled up and two hours on dry, sunny roads Hampshire/Sussex - it doesn't get much better! :driving:

Yep, I managed 40+ miles up the A38 towards Gloucester but a bit too foggy to overtake anything !
Took the wife to a garden centre for a coffee, then back

We got out today but wasnt for long a little blast round derwent reservoir late start also 1:30 on route through shotley bridge drove sat mike (cherrym)

I went to go get milk this morning.... Which naturally turned into an hours adventure... I can't help myself!

Damp roads means no Zed

Roads were dry today you big Jessie!

Saying that, only places I went to were Morrisons and my parents house 10 miles away. Was great fun scaring my missus down the rural lanes between my house and theirs

Great to hear that folk got out in their Zeds and great reading your posts - it'll be December tomorrow! :o

Nice one everybody - just lots of cleaning to do during this time of year as well :(

:driving:

Weather was fab on Saturday, got mine MOT'd then whet for a spin to bed in my new tyres.

My Zed sat filthy on the driveway all weekend.
///M stayed in the garage all weekend.

Very poor effort. Was going to take the Zed out on Sunday but it's such a mess I'm ashamed to drive it.

Ventured to Guildford yesterday in the 3 series as the door dinkers and gormless Sunday drivers were out in force.
