Who drives at night with the roof down?

Yep never have the roof up even in winter, only goes up if I get caught in a rain shower, if I can't have the roof down I don't bother going out. Just can't beat a warm summer night or all wrapped up in winter.

Mine's a summer car and it's always roof down unless it starts to rain heavily - light rain, if you can keep moving, is fine

It's also a nice thing to do when working late. At least you get *some* fresh air between office computer and home computer.

Definitely. Introduced my wife, son and a few friends (and their sons/daughters) to roof off driving - they love it. Warm summer night, clear sky, lean back and look upwards. Sometimes, I envy them the experience. Then I remember what I'm driving :D

Used to love doing this but I am ashamed to say that since putting on a hardtop to test the fitting procedure last June I have not taken it back off yet!

I will now bend over and await my multiple spanking....

Not from me!

It's waaaaaay to cold for me to go out without the roof as well!

Needs to be >12c for me to take the roof of when dark, but when it is warm enough it's (nearly) the best thing ever!

I often do this, down to around 0 degrees. Wind deflector on, windows up, music up and seat heating on!

Used to do it all the time after having been to the gym. Lovely way to cool down and dry your hair. Unfortunately no zed to do it in now. :headbang:

Driving in south France at night with the roof off last year was almost the highlight of the trip.

Just amazing after a great meal out back to the villa.

If I had a convertible, I definitely would.

Its almost the reason I got a Z4mR over an MC. It was after a trip back home after a BBQ driving across the New Forrest just as the sun had gone down, middle of the summer.

It was bloody lovely!

I just wish the centre bit of the Z4MC roof could be removed.

Since I acquired the Zed about a month ago, I've always driven with the roof down, day or night, unless it's raining. I confess there have been a couple of occasions when I've put it back up half-way home from work because it was so damn cold.

I bought the Zed as a stand-in when I ordered a new 530d Touring, but I'm enjoying it so much that I'm seriously worried that I'll never drive the 5 when it arrives.

Brilliant  :D

The 5er will be a lovely present for the wife then...

The only time our roof is up is when the car is in the garage. Nightime by the sea was lovely. Heated seats and steering wheel and a good woolly hat and the roof is down however cold :D

Night or day, even when cold, the roof is down - heated seats, scarf hat and gloves - brilliant - it's why we have a roadster

:driving:
