Its just a nightmare for BMW though because the E92 M3 never had traction issues because all the power was at the top end of the revs and it hardly had any meaningful torque either yet it got criticised for it, so they rectify it with the M4 and give its loads of low end torque but then it cant put the power down so they cant win!ZermattV said:
The other problem is noise and the M4 gets slated for its uninspiring sound track and pumped through the speakers falseness yet the V8 never sounded that great either with the standard exhaust set up so it was hardly an amazing benchmark in the first place when compared to its rivals from Merc/Audi so it just shows how hard it is to please everyone in the performance car world.
