Think this depends on where you want to mount the ipod. Most of the kit just sits in the boot (although you have to secure it somehow) as it replaces (and connects in to) the CD autochanger. I have a DICE kit and feeding the wire through the centre console was the most difficult part - I like to have the ipod in the cabin with me.

You're welcome. My DICE is routed through to the ashtray; I built up an Ipod/Iphone connection port into the ashtray inner, similar to the specdock (see http://specdock.com/).
