The last of the great spenders thats me ! Wanted a set of silver dustcaps to match my nice refurbished alloy wheels. Didn't want anything too fancy as they can be easily nicked - found exactly what I wanted on Amazon - arrived today - fits perfectly and yes are metal ( well looks and feels like metal )

Total cost including post and packing :

£1.88

You're right - cookies !! I get paranoid about internet security .

Just make sure you check your pressures often, otherwise you might find these weld themselves to the valve stems.

All depends on the quality of them.

and quite rightly so

I have the M caps of those, also a shocker at M prices of about £4 or so :)

Do be careful about removing them often as they will seize if left for a long time.

I had an incident with metal dust caps a few years ago on a Renault Laguna. I got them at Halfords as they were cheap and looked good. Nothing on the packaging told me of the problem to come. A while later I needed to add some air to a tyre and the cap wouldn't come off. It came off eventually - with half the tyre valve - pppppffft!!!
4 replacement tyre pressure monitoring valves required. There was a corrosion issue between the two metals effectively welding them together. After a bit of wrangling Halfords paid me the £120 or so pounds it cost to get it put right. I went back to plastic caps after that.
My Z4M has BMW metal caps - no issue with these.......so far.

I went for these ones from the same Amazon link.....

I assume you fixed the username thing, since my order for 5,000 of these on your account was rejected..... :(

The skull ones really are classy but a lot more expensive than mine - hang on a minute a van just has turned up on my drive from Amazon - seems to be unloading a lot of boxes ...............
