Hello
I have clean licence and am over 40 and looking for insurance with my wife on cover protected bonus and no claims or points. My current insurance Highway are quoting £650 and on the comparison websites its coming up at between £400-£800. Are companys like Admiral, Rac etc up to scratch policy wise?

Would apprecate any comments?

Thanks
Ian

Just done mine: Royal Sun Alliance through the IAM Surety scheme ( for IAM members only):

£354, excess £250
protected 9 years+ No claims bonus
me and mrs gannet insured.

Just turned 35

Excess amount can make a big difference as well as all the usual factors...

Tried Chris Knott with the Forum scheme?

2007 Z4M Roadster, my age is 37.

£511.00 per year with Aviva, The wife and myself insured .

9 years NCB and 3 points for speeding :o

Just paint £430 with £350XS with Chris Knott - the cheapest quote was with More Than at £401 + £26 legal expenses and a massive £600 xs :o

42 Year old 6yrs NCB with wife (41) clean licence but 1 no fault accident for wife.

Your poll doesnt go high enough for me lol!

31yrs old. 10yrs no claims discount. Live in MANCHESTER! £1200/yr £550 excess.

What am I meant to do? Drive a piece of cr@p just cos I have the pleasure to live in Manchester?!

33yrs, clean license, 9 yrs NCB, a garaged '05 2.5 in Brighton, 6k mile limit, Miss LazioMaster inc, £300 excess- fully comp with Esure (Calm down dear its only.........)

£498

£820 with £500 excess for a 39 year old male, no convictions or claims, 10 years protected NCB, Liverpool 25 postcode, unlimited miles including business class 1.

I put the lowest bracket, but I have a feeling Privilege are charging me closer to £300 with around £250 excess. Full no claims. An M roadster would increase my premium by £150 or thereabouts.

South Oxfordshire... 37 (I think, can't be bothered to do the sums)... and the car is off the road overnight. No points!

They didn't charge for non-runflats.

Greenlight, i swapped mid-policy so i dont know exactly how much my renewal will be but around £1400 i think with £600 excess

fully comp, 4 years NCB, 21y/o and 3 points (sp30, 3 years old)

Ry

29, 7 or 8 NCB, 3 points (TS50), Just under £800 with BMW who have been very good. All repairs carried out out BMW, don't have to ask. There underwritten by the same company as Direct Line so if you get a quote by them and then BMW will match it. :D

I'm with Churchill, soon to be 62 yrs young .. full no claims £260 with £200 excess.... age has its benefits :P
