whiter front fog light

I swear I remember reading a previous post on this topic, but numerous searches produced no relevant results. I want to change my front fog/driving light bulbs to a color that more closely resembles my xenon main lamps. The factory driving lamps are the basic halogen color, which looks odd under xenons. Any suggestions? I have this style light, not the round ones:

Where did you find that info?

Are these plug and play or is an extra ballast needed? Some bulbs on Ebay are sold with ballasts, some say they require a separate ballast.
 
OEM color is 4300K but you can choose 4300K, 6000K, 9000K etc.
Extra ballast needed, so buy the whole kit.
