to be fair, you could do it on your drive but have issues with contaminants etc and for a better job if you have to buy a decent spray gun - rather than rattle cans - that ll cost you if don't have one, when I was looking - it sounded like gallon tins of the stuff was the way to go and prob closer to 120 quid in paint. if it was 350 all in its less than half most wrap quotes ive seen.

Not what I originally expected (the plastidip) but it does look well. I might not choose to do it to my own car, but it does look good.

Cheers I am quite happy with it. Yeah it's sprayed with plasti dip, had it done professionally by RubberWraps.co.uk although dont think there website is live yet. I didn't have the full door shuts done as was more money but he will do them if you want. Obviously he will paint any area as with any respray it's just more due to the extra time masking. The fogs aren't painted over I took the picture before the masking tape was removed!

It looks good to be honest feels pretty much like a satin vinyl wrap as its not too matte. Ill upload some photos of it in the daylight later on and one of the door shuts. Cost wise he is charging his material cost price plus £200 for a limited time until he gets booked up for a month I think.

I'm not sure on the rear bumper or the panel that's black behind the rear window I'm getting that white too. With the bumper I originally wanted just the bottom lip leaving black as thought the current finish would be too much black but now it has the plate on I'm a bit 50.50. Still temped to get it changed though.

If you can do it in a few hours you should start a business. It took him the best part of 2 days to remove parts, fully mask it up and apply ten coats of plasti dip. You could probably do it on your drive but it wouldn't look like this with no contaminants and an even colour unlike rattle cans.

Looks great. 10 coats should help with removal. I had a pig of a time getting it off my bike where i'd used less coats. Lasted a year pretty well on the bike but that's much less mileage.
