Have the aa report which is fine but will need tyres as well as the condition report which as some one said mentions a small scratch and a seal.

Interior is red with piano black.

Nice car, overpriced in my opinion.

But the market is overpriced across the board anyway and will remain so for a bit.

Thanks for posting! I called BCA at half 5 on Friday and they still didn't have the SH info so they must have been updated... No mention of anything other than the running in service though which is alarming if that's the only service it's had...

Some of the values above certainly are over priced. IMO no example should be up at the 20k mark retail.

Looks like the RI has been done then so that's good. Regarding price, they will be looking (initially at least) for clean CAP which seems to be £17900. Knowing the way these guys think they will in all likelihood accept an offer on the day of somewhere between average and clean CAP, so between £16900 and £17900. If it doesn't reach that they will possibly hold it back and run it through another sale. One thing to watch out for is the buyers premium/indemnity. As a private guy that will be significant on a £16K plus sale.

this is interesting why do you think it will remain overpriced fora bit?

If I was looking for an MC I'd snap this up in a heartbeat.

I bought a small coupe auto last week from Enfield BCA. Best auction to buy from and if it's bca assured you can return the car if any problems found (within a time limit). Safer than buying private or some dealers imo.

ps now selling my beloved titanium MC :(

The market price always is, and always will be, what someone is prepared to pay for it.

True. However, I find that BMW adding £2-5k over normal prices sets an expectation in the market value is higher. On that basis people are prepared to pay more. Just my tuppence worth

I don't think people want to pay more of course but if the prices keep going up there will always be one person whom has the money to buy and you may have some that are reluctant but will pay because there is no alternative. High priced examples are not selling quickly and Hexagon is an example of this. They dropped their prices by 2k before Christmas...

Okie Cokie, I've spoken to them and the vehicle has had 2 keepers, no service history is currently available, I've got to call back tomorrow and their projected final sale value is £17,900.

If the car has only covered a genuine 11k miles in total but has only had the run-in service, then on a 2009 car, the lack of any further service history wouldn't really bother me, provided I could buy this car at a "bargain" price at auction. Even if the oil has never been changed since the run-in service, the oil might have degraded a bit, but it certainly won't have buggered-up the engine. At the end of the day, buying any car will always be a gamble, but this car still has 12 months manufacturer's warranty on all the major parts.

If you are not prepared to pay £2k too much for a car such as the Sepang Bronze Z4MC, which will have a dealer's warranty, then buying at auction price looks like the way to go.

I understand your point regarding the warranty etc but if the car hasn't had any form of servicing since the running in, it still has been sitting around a lot with having done 10k worth of miles in 5 years without being given the once over, there's no guarantee it hasn't been abused, much like with any sale of course.

As for the Sepang, to be honest that's not a colour that would suit my personality or one that I wish to live with. I'm not against it at all, it's just not me regardless of price. These two examples are exceptionally low in mileage, and whilst I am looking for low mileage, I would feel more comfortable with one that's done another 10k that comes with a bit more history.

I'm only trying to help you and the legend at the foot of your postings does say: "On the hunt - for a low mileage Z4MC..." :poke: I'm sure that all Z4MCs are given what owners of "lesser" cars might call "abuse" in that they can be driven to the redline and spiritedly - that's the nature of this beast. The servicing of the Z4M is calculated by the car's ECU (DME) and the first service after the run-in service will not be required before around 16k miles at the soonest, so apart from an oil change and brake fluid change at 2 year intervals, no other servicing should be required. In any event most of the items on the list of servicing is just "check" this, that and the other and no real spanner work is required. Apart from tyres, I can't see much else that you'd expect to be wrong with a car of this sort of age, with such low mileages. So, you just buy all cars on "condition".

I'll sell you my 2007 Z4MC with less than 30k on the clock for the price of the Sepang Bronze car if that would give you more confidence. Do you have the personality to drive a Phoenix Yellow Z4MC?

There is a severe lack of good cars!

The bargains at auctions have ceased to exist.

Trust me.

I believe sub 30k also falls under the 'low mileage' bracket, no?
I certainly wouldn't band my car as a lesser model and my opinion can can be put upon a 1.6, any car can be used to an inch of its life, M's are not unique to this just like this sentiment doesn't have to be made by the owner of a so called 'lesser' car, it's just life really.

My personality could handle a Phoenix yellow indeed but I personally wouldn't wish to live with one, and I wouldn't give you 20k for the pleasure I'm afraid.

No worries; it's not for sale and I didn't give £20k for it either. :P

I await with interest to see what you might eventually buy.
