White smoke and oil sludge...

I don't think this is great news for the Z4. Noticed some white smoke the last couple days, been cold so didn't think much of it, but noticed a plume after giving it a run. Got home to check the oil lid and was greeted by what I can only presume is a head gasket problem.

I've ordered a head gasket test kit, prior to inspecting.

Mine looks exactly the same during winter and has done so every winter I’ve owned the car (5 now). Your smoke will be condensation or possibly oil because the CCV is blocked up with mayo.
I’d stake my last can of lager that your head gasket is fine.

I'm no expert but Iv'e read this on here a few times, it's the winter and short runs. I have also read on here many times that the 6 cylinder engines rarely have head gasket failure.

Having done a more thorough search I'm going towards the CCV, I think your last can of lager is probably safe.. Got no other issues and otherwise drives great, no overheating
