Just to throw this out there, but what getting them done in the Ferric Grey colour that was an option for some BMW wheels?

I want a set of the 261M wheels in Ferric Grey for my 1 series, but short of buying them brand new, they don't come up very often. But IMHO the colour looks great on dark coloured cars.

Of course it is, and I should know, as that's what I type into our group ferry booking every year :headbang:

White doesn't look totally awful (much to my surprise), but keeping them that way would be a horrible task!

What makes you think that would bother him, he's from Liverpool :poke: :poke:

I understand the sentiment, and they don't actually look too bad... But I think they cheapen it. The R33 just has a different feel to it, and they go. Not sure why, maybe seen too many Japanese wannabe drifting movies :P

Off topic a little, do tell us what your mate has done to his Skyline... ? With it being a jap car, it's unlikely not to have had surgery, and inevitable increase in BHP

Can't tell you exactly what he's done to it as he's had it since before I knew him, but he seems to do something new to it every year.

I believe he can run it at anything from 350-550bhp, but usually keeps it around 450bhp for reliability. He's added extra oil/charge coolers, better oil scavaging, and has recently fitted some suspension from a championship winning Time Attack car.

There's LOTS more he's done, but I start to glaze over after about an hour's worth of Datsun geekness.
