but yes.... i do think i need to get some much better pics and offer him lower than the asking price... like you say not many white Z owners looking for a hard top and its not like a black/silver 1 that has a big market that you can just leave on for the winter if it doesn't match the colour of your car, i think any colour other than white would look crap with a white hard top on haha

he has spoken with the garage who sprayed it, and says its "RAL9010 - Pure White"
luckily, i work in sales for an aluminium window/door company and i can now go and check what orders have been placed in RAL9010 and get some off cuts and go see what they look like next to alpine white (as apparently the garage says they will match.... but they would say that....)

One thing to remember when comparing them is that because of the shape of the roof and the way it fits none of it is at the same angle as an adjoining body panel of the car, so as long as it is a reasonably close approximation it is unlikely you will be able to tell it is different
Its because of the way the differnt angles of the car reflect light differently if you know what I mean. I have posted a photo of my car to show it but the car is all the same silver colour (apart from the roof) but it looks like loads of different silvers
yea i get what your saying lol! couldn't find a piece in time and about to go home for the weekend anyway so will have to try it again on Monday! this is all providing nobody makes a bid on the ebay link, im thinking of going no higher that 600 and its currently up for 650 so soon as it gets a bid... im out (bear in mind its a 800 mile, 13 hour round trip)

update from the guy selling the white hard top, its been taken off ebay as somebody is going to view car tonight and has shown interest in buying hard top with it so will have to wait and see :/
