White Angel Eyes

I tried a set of new H8 bulbs, but though they were an improvement, they were not white enough.

So i decided to talk the plunge and bought a set of LED replacements for the not inconsiderable price of £75.

Unfortunately the pictures are not very clear and the results are much better in person.

i am very pleased, they are bright white now and look much more like the new style angel eyes. Also with the headlights on the rings are now the same colour :)

in the below the nearside has been changed and the offside is still OEM

An improvement for sure. Wonder how much the facelift headlights will be, probably too much to be viable?

Came across these whilst searching, more expensive though. Claims to be 'brightest'.

... they do look remarkably similar, casing wise, to the ones at £75..

Those are the LUX and yes are widely recognised as the best. CREE 20W are the second best. Check out any BMW forum... Happy with £15 MTEC H8's personally lol...

No errors at all, I will take a picture today once it gets light

Very straightforward to fit but a little fiddley, needed someone with slightly smaller hands really! But with a bit of bu66ering about I got them in in about 20-30 mins

Also I think those £150 one are the same seem to be the same spec unless j missed something

Apologies for Hi jacking the thread but it is the only way i can contact a member ie Maniac.

Hi Maniac i noticed your sig pic and my coupe is in the pic is it possible that you could email me a copy of the original pic.

many thanks Chris

As you were guys

Thanks for the pic in daylight and certainly look ok , but what's your opinion on brightness compared to oem as read some of the cheap ones are useless in daylight

Also the advert on eBay is confusing as says ite for one only but I assume it's a pair

they are as bright as the OEM ones i think, i agree i have seem some of the cheaper options and they were rubbish.

to my eyes these are a really good replacement.

Also i agree the add is a bit confusing, however it does say somewhere that you get a pair.

Hi Vidge - is there a particular e-bayer that you used, and does the kit come with instructions? Are they easy to fit? How about a "how to"?
