I've had my Z4 for almost a year now and it's been great, but slowly starting to mod it a lil bit now cause I'm a bad man :wink:

Nice 3litre , did you happen to buy it from around Chelmsford? There’s not that many of this model around & i remember seeing one like this on autotrader late last year :?

Indeed I did! It was almost exactly what I was after bar the fact I wanted red leather.

Small world I liked the look of this car & was going to have a look at it but bought a silver version with 19k miles instead-that Car lasted a whole month before breaking its gearbox and I’m now in a 2litre turbo zed

Was it an auto? What caused the breakage?

It was a 3litre manual e89, syncro’s got damaged somehow & it was grinding and jumping out of gear
Normally bulletproof of course but not impervious to bear paws
