Eye of the beholder I guess.I like it, white suits the car. I think I would have to either refinish the wheels or add some sort of highlight to break up the black slab look. I don't understand this hatred of M badges unless a genuine M of course :) Does no one remember the E28 M5 and M535 the M5 was of course a true M car whilst the M535 had body kit, suspension, steering wheel etc but stock 3.5 lump. So as far as I can see a 3.0si with M suspension, M steering wheel and M seats could legitimately wear an M badge, it is after all on the steering wheel courtesy of BMW? :poke:

Dont know what the fuss with white is. Not only is it about as bland as it comes but it doesn't show any of the lines of the car makes it all look flat. Just looks bland and always looks dirty.

Have to agree wholeheartedly.
I long lusted after a white E86 until I saw one in the real & realised most of the other colours available actually suit it far better

There are so many good choices on the Z, probably rare because it doesnt suit the shape of the car. The twin tone colours look the best

So it's got nice low mileage, but had a wrap which may or may not be covering something and will always be an expense to remove and correct. It's also had two MOT fails for recurring ABS faults which suggest the owner didn't pay the coin to have it fixed, possibly more interested in cosmetics over maintenance.
Mixed bag IMHO and a strong ask being based on mileage

Disagree, you might have a point with flat white but metallic white is a different kettle of frogs-showing the lines off beautifully with different lighting levels

Yeh, it's all about how the light reflects - I think glossy or metallic white is quite timeless and always looks good. A semi-matt white wrap is another matter entirely.

I love the info available via this site with people in the know...

Well a wrapped car is not for me, and I think its a bit cheeky of the seller not to mention it. I doubt its a trustworthy machine if its got possible hidden issues.

I was all set for a long drive to Peterborough as I was genuinely interested...
I know my own car inside out, and that's it, ive decided its a long long term keeper. Not worth the risk to change it for summit else. Plus at only 45k miles its ultra low , especially as im only adding 1k or so a year
