Not just for a Z4 meet, the meeting was just a pretext.
The real reason is this :

Say Hi to Frank, we really enjoyed having you guys along not to mention your gorgeous Z, even if the steering wheel is on the wrong side. :fuelfire:
If we make it across to Mainland Europe next year will need to make a point of dropping by Paris.

Oops, got a mail from Frank : he says hello too, thanks and all...

I am planning a 1 day meet for next summer in May or June.
We shall be passing by 4 distilleries en route - The Famous Grouse, Aberfeldy, Blair Athol, and Edradour - interested? :driving:

Nice to meet you and Frank aka Pasquale.

Great weekend, can't wait for the next one.

We did take loads at both Cromarty and Chanonry lighthouse on the Black Isle while Dolphin spotting (none were out to play though) but for some reason none of them saved, so I guess we'll just have to go back when the weathers better.

Biggest low......probably my Z, got sick of hearing things graunching out on the Islay roads and slowed down a bit in mechanical sympathy, plus the DTC/DTS warning light, never showed itself once back on the mainland? :D
Just under 1000miles at 35.3mpg at a huge 38.1mph.

1 day for 4 distilleries... sounds tempting... :driving:

Looks great  You Scottish boys really have the best roads and countryside for Zedding :D
...shame it's so far from home for me

I have written some thank you emails to the campsite, Ardbeg distillery and to Islay Community council,
I have one reply so far from Hamish at the community council....

Hello Stephen

Really happy you guys enjoyed yourselves, I did hear about you all but never saw you. My fellow community councillors met you somewhere, nothing ever goes unnoticed on Islay, or any island I suppose.

Stunning pics, my son works at Laphroaig doing tours, he`s a student on a summer job. Not sure if he was still there, had an Amsterdam moment for 4 days last week, bit worrying but he survived.

Keep having fun.

Hamish

You managed to capture Nosa being smoked out and can just about make out a Zed in the background too.

Amazing how shiny silver looks even after 600+ miles, some of them in the rain. Seems my passenger faired less well* :P

*600+ miles with me will do that to a person.

Reply from Ardbeg

Hi Craig, You have missed some good runs and alot of good fun, was beginning to think you didn't like us
Not sure what is happening regarding the borders run, I think Richard is away again untill Xmas time possibly later, I know he wants to make it a charity run. I'm sure he will post up his intentions regarding the run.

think a11y is planning next years "overnight" meet next year but don't think we are doing any of the Islands, I think it is taking a 2 night Great roads format, I am waiting with baited breath for his thread to start, Malc is planning a Decent one day event for next year as well.
