Ok guys not Posted for a while been rather busy, I will be stopping at Falkirk central premier inn on 1st sept Thursday, I will be driving up from Nottingham on that day. If anyone wants to pm for a drive up or for a drink when I get to Falkirk your welcome.

Guiseley, Ally's right my good lady and I are booked into the Falkirk Premier Central on the Thursday night, not sure what time we will arrive as someone has to go to the hairdressers on thursday. (Que jokes from Taz). But will be looking to partake of some refreshement of the liquid variety.
Only 3 days of work left before the meet :D .

I am guesstimating Inverary about 11am - 11:30am as a few Photo stops on route, will give you a buzz when about 30 mins away Bradders.

Thanks Steve, I'll PM you my number.

Thanks also to Malc for the suggestions of places to visit, especially Cruachan. Very disappointed with the rest of you! :P

I'll hopefully be meeting up with you guys on the Friday morning run to Kennacraig somewhere around Inveraray. Any idea on the time you'll all be passing through? If Ally/Guiseley or someone else who has my number could drop me a text when you're approaching, that would be great. :D

Cheers

Matt
If you want to hit Gretna and turn left along the A75, I can show you around the forgotten South West and even offer a place to kip.

Wow, that's an extremely generous offer Richard, thanks, but it's a lot further South than I want to travel this time. Certainly wouldn't rule out a look around there though next year!

Hope you guys have a great trip, I visited Islay 2 years ago an loved it. I had planned to go back again this year but bought a new car instead.. Hence why I have just joined this forum

No worries, there are a couple or 3 other runs presently being planned, One in the borders area (RichardG organising) one up through the cairngorms and surrounding area (MalcZ4 organising I think) and a11y is planning next years biggy of lots of driving over 2 days on some of the best roads in Scotland if not Britain.
Where you based, (making an assumption you live in gods country) Let a11y know and he will add you too the scottish members list which means you will get a PM for any scottish organised Runs, not that any of our runs are for Scottish members only every one is welcome, It is nice when some of the guys n gals come up from England to remind us of how much we take our scenery for granted.
