Whippy Aerial Removal on 06 Z4MC Issue??

Guys,

It may just be me but a purchased a stubby to replace my whippy....just for looks.

No matter how hard I try I cant unscrew the whippy. Any handy tips...or is it just brute force?

These cars are designed to have a whippy, it helps with handling, radio reception and most of all , looks....keep the whip :whip: :whip:
 
soak overnight with wd40...teatowel wrapped around base and a good set of molegrips worked for me, try tightening it a fraction first before loosening...be patient and try not to force it
 
It's the BMW gods way of telling you not to mess with the whippy! :P
