Believe the unicorn was a roadster only one in Alpine white. From memory I think there was 18 m coupes in White.
Lovely car none the less!

Isn’t it always the same colour as the bumper? Mine is.

I thought they were all black! Never realised

Or did you mean specifically Z4Ms?

EDIT: A quick look at cars for sale suggests they're all black.

Looking at Autotrader, it seems that body-coloured number plate carriers is specific to ///M cars.

No i didn't paint the reg plate mount - i thought they were all the same as the bumper, as for the grills - sorry Chris_D i swapped them from black to silver! :D - I like how they marry in with the CSL's.
I believe that 18 alpine whites did come into the UK, from looking at past Forum chats 1 was shipped out to NZ (it had the bicolour Silverstone which i think would have looked great with AW) and 1 was potentially written off, not sure though. Rare but not unicorn rare!

My M came with a black number plate mount, but rather than paint it I'd rather get rid of it!

There was a track-modified White MC at the last Black Swan Classic Car meet on 8 March - looks like I should have taken a photo of it!

That’s odd, mine is definitely blue!
My Aus number plate is considerably smaller the number plate mount so, when I have time, I’ll remove it and get either a blue or black number plate.

// M numberplate mounts were colour coded from factory.

In that case I guess mine must have seen some front end action in the past!

It’s not a great picture, but what you can see is the leading edge of some very chewed up metal skid plates under fairly intact fangage!
