A few of the things I've done with my car were met with uncertainty before hand and have gone down well afterwards.

As someone else mentioned I'd bag a set of 17s for winter wheels and 108s possibly the last ones I'd be using at winter.

I guess as Playalistic says, the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same thing..

With regards the 108's, dont think it will be a problem using in winter as they have a painted lip, unless you know something I dont?
 
Certainly around here we get a lot of pot holes, often hidden in puddles and I just think the extra 5% on the profile makes all the difference with the rims getting clipped. Also, winter tyres aren't cheap! I think the difference between the 18" staggered setup and the 225 17s alround would pay for the spare wheels.

Can't comment on the painted lip, my observation is based on the amount of time people seem to spend refurbing 108s compared to anything else!

you cant beat regular silver csls on a black coupe. do a google search (http://www.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q=z4+coupe+black+csl&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1280&bih=610) ... how can you not want them!! them top alloys you posted look like a cheap nasty rep to me :headbang:
 
The more I look at them, the more I think I want the last ones posted.. Not seen them on a Zed before. They remind me a little of the V710 rims.
 
Like yourself I think the CSL's & 108's look good but I just wanted something a bit different so went for the dish's. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but they look good to me.

I don't think the 4th ones are too bad, and the M6 wheels I've seen on a Zed near me and looked ok.

I've always liked the 108 though.

In reference to winter tyres on 18s, mine have picked up a couple of kerb marks from potholes, nothing major but I notice. Only really on the rears, due to running stretched, narrower winter tyres on a wide rim.
 
C'mon DrNick, a bit too bling? I agree mine has been described as 'a little bit slutty' but I like that. If you got it flaunt it!

Edit: after seeing the results so far, if you decide it should be individual, you should then pick the lowest score which is number 2. :D
 
The 2nd and 3rd are the worst. I would prefer 4th to 1st. But I will go for OEM BMW Performance one.

There was a forum member here with a silver roadster which had the last set on their car......

Cant remember the username but they have since moved on to a black E46 M3.

They dont look as striking (in good way) when mounted to a car.... and as the inner lip is black would match the exterior.

Dont suppose I could be cheeky and ask you to shop the last set on for me? The polished CSL type ones.

This is the reason I put this poll on here. I like them all and can't decide between them..
