Which tyres?

Finally decided to ditch the RFT's and get some real rubber. Wheels are 326's but what would you choose to put on them?
In the past I have always gone for Mitchelins PSS, but am considering Goodyear F1's and Continental Sport Contacts.
Any input welcome.

Cheers Sharon

I had the continentals on my Megane, 1 track day and 4000 miles later they were completely bald. I replaced them with F1's, so far so good. The grip levels are just as good and they don't seem to wear any where near as much.

I had the Michelins on my old Z3, they were fine in dry weather but I found them a bit hairy in damp or wet conditions. When I replace the tyres on my Z4 it will be with F1's without any doubt. Great tyre.

Wouldn't have a problem with the Michelin PSS or the Goodyear F1A 2.

Never had a problem in the wet with my Michelin PSS (unless you count my spin on the motorway :poke: ) and I've done about 75,000 miles, and 200+ wet/cold/dry/damp 'Ring laps on multiple sets.

Although all of my friends who have tried the PSS have stayed on them - driving everything from 250bhp FWD Mini Cooper JCW to 500bhp R33 Skylines.

There are several good tyres out there for me when I replaced RFT I chose Vredstein Ultrac Vorti's and I am not disappointed . Great tyre in wet or dry good cornering and Quiet .

Another vote for the ultrac vorti's excellent grip in wet and dry and are wearing pretty slowly. I'm certainly sticking with them till they stop making them.

Just put Michelin PS3 on the rears yesterday. They already feel different in a good way compared to the Conti Sport 3s previously on. Pneus tyres online were doing them for a great price as well.
