which tyres should i buy?

I bought my e86 with Michelin pilot 4s and love em, but I think they are a bit pricey. I’ll be replacing them with Goodyear eagle f1s when the time comes, for me best balance between price, performance, and quality - and EVO magazine rate them highly (second place consistently overall the last few tests they did)
I think pilot 4s came first place (but they are a good 20-50 more per tyre
Eagle f1s do tend to be noisy tho... I use to run em on my 350z previously

OP should probably have included his wheel size as being on 16s will narrow down options .
With that in mind Dan you should take your pick from any of the Falken , Hankook , Vredestein, Kumho or Uniroyal & doubt you will feel disappointed .
All those in 205 55 16 are around £50 , if you want to save a few more ££ but still want a quality tyre there are these Nokians at £42 each ( far from a budget tyre the price might suggest ) https://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/nokian/iline/205-55-r16-91h-466678
At least when you do come to upsize the wheels you won't have spent a fortune on rubber yet be assured all above are well capable of doing the job for you

I have the Falken FK510’s as well .. excellent all round tyre with very good grip
Far better than the Pirelli Pzeros they replaced
They’ve been on 18 months and after 9k miles the fronts are on 5mm and the rears just under 3mm
Considering they were half the price of the Michelin’s I’m quite impressed

I just wanna update that my Uniroyal Rainsport 3s are on... And they're just amazing.
The car is totally different and so much more enjoyable and fun to drive. Grip levels seem very similar to the previous PS3s.... Just different!
