WHICH TYRES DO YOU RECCOMEND

Just got a 3.0i z4 e85

im gonna put 4 new tyres on it but just wondering what you guys reccomend?

probably gonne do 3-4000 miles a year if that,i wont be going on a track

its not my daily as i drive my works van literally everywhere (that has 4 khumos on it) i do about 2000 a year in that
i also have Porsche 911 that has 4 Pilot Sport 4s on it but i only do about 500-1000 miles a year in that
& also have a Mercedes GLE that has Pirelle p zeros on it,my wife does about 3000 miles a year on it

ill be using the Z4 for the odd daily trip ie car shows etc (visiting not showing)
and i may do the nc500 and some other trips in the beemer too,maybe france

my question is what tyres would you guys go for? knowing me ill have the car 12 months and move on as ive had over 100 motors
that doesnt mean i wanna put cheap crap on it though (it currently has 4 hankooks on it)

ive seen pilot sport 5s on black circles and they were £570 for all 4

what do you guys think?

A lot of people love Michelin PS4 and PS5 tyres.

After reading a load of threads on here about tyres I bought a set of Kumho Ecsta tyres for my MC nearly 10,000 miles ago and I've been really pleased with them, including a trip around the NC500. Added bonus was they only cost a few quid over £400. :)
 
So far I’ve had good experiences with the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R’s on my coupe. Plenty of grip, firm sidewalls (which I prefer) and surprisingly long-lived
 
Look on tyreleader for delivery only and also check both kwikfit and Costco online as they sometimes have big discounts on 4 at once and both of those are a fully fitted all in price.

If you have TopCashback you can also get another £10-£20 off kwikfit if you buy online…
 
I got 4 Dunlop Sportmaxx RT2s from Black Circles fitted for £420 in 2020 £71 per front, £107 per rear and they are still going albeit rears are prob close to renewal now. Same set would cost me £508 today [insert vomiting emoji here] £99 per front, on the fronts and £154 (!!!!) per rear the noise rating has increased by 2db from 69db (giggedy) to 71db (assuming further testing/feedback since then).

I do about 7k miles a year mostly spirited B Road driving, also did NC500 last April.

At the time of fitting the only tyre in that price bracket that was A rated for wet, and lowest noise. Obviously slightly abitrary metrics but can't hurt as a guide right?

I looked at any tyre test data I could find at the time to specifically compare performance between Dunlop and the usual suspects Michelin/Goodyear/Continental and they were the best in their price bracket overall and closest to the big boys on braking distance compared to Kumho, Uniroyal, Toyo etc.
