Which trolley jack

Had my SGS five years now and it hasn't missed a beat. Great for the money and occasional usage. Make sure you buy some jacking pads too (as well as the BMW-specific ones, a hockey puck, turned and grooved on a drill or lathe, makes a great all-purpose pad).

Wouldn't hesitate to spend >£100 on a proper low profile, long armed aluminium jack in the future though.

I bought these pads - provide a perfect cushion

You can buy proper ones that fit in the recess Marlon, I would choose that type personally, but I am sure the ones you have work just fine

Mine is still going strong ...

OK, so this thread is a little more dull perhaps than you thought. But I thought I'd share a quick review. Needed a jack, and I'd left my axle stands a few hundred miles away at my dad's. So found a really nice looking low profile 2 tonne jack, rubber jacking-pad and a tidy carry case. This also came with two ratchet style axle stands.

I ordered it yesterday at 3.30pm, and it arrived today at 9am. Brilliant service. Really nicely packaged, and a jack which I'd be happy to keep polished. Haha. I can't comment on durability/longevity but initially seems great. Plus the handle rotates for those awkward angles.

67 quid delivered !!! :D:D:D (eBay price, their website is slightly more)

I thought that these should have been smaller! - they just squashed out so did the job ok.

Ditto - it's a great bit of kit for the price. I've had mine for several years now and no issues to date.
