Which spark plugs do you use?

Done a quick search but not really found a lot on the subject (unless i was looking in the wrong place)

Really just curious if people stick with OEM or use aftermarket plugs (any recommendations) and what the pro's and con's are either way.

Richard - links to the Bosch/NGK web sites which list various plugs for your Zed from the standard single electrode to the 4 electrode platinum version. Over the years I seem to have tried a variety of plugs in a variety of cars and bikes from cheap to expensive but have usually found the manufacturer recommended ones have been both reliable and economical. There may have been some difference but I certainly could not detect it.

Thanks for the reply Alan, but it was looking at NGKs website in the first place that got me thinking about it and like I said just wondered if any one had changed theirs from OEM and what the findings were.

Denso Iridium Power IK20's here... happily binned that long life bosche 4 prong excuse for a plug :P

Runs very nicely with them to, there is a post in the how to section when I fitted them.

Just recently switched to the NGK Iridium plugs, from the stock Bosch. Got to say, seems to be a noticeable improvement. Very happy with them - great fun to change the plugs as well!

in my Skyline i changed the plugs from OEM to NGK iridium plugs also, and there was a noticeable improvement. Only had my Z4 for 5 months, but i will be using the NGK iridium tips when the current ones need changing

In your pic they look quite a bit longer - are they?

Not particularly, if anything I would say the standard plugs are a funny shape - they fit and work fine
