Genuinely interested in the split on this as there's been some fairly heated debate on the matter. So which side are you on?

1. "People are dying. I'm going to play my part and follow the guidlines"

Or

2. "I'm going to ignore guidelines and go about my daily life"

Or

3. " I'll follow the guidelines to some extent, however it's overly strict and I'll go to the shops as normal and get out and about to do stuff"

Your choices at 1. and 2. are very prejudiced and aggressive so I won't vote.

If you had said:

1. Stay at home and follow expert guidance from Government sources

2. Ignore advice and go out risking infection with other people. I would have voted 1.

Options 1 and 2 are based firmly on the opinions Ive read recelty on this forum, not necessarily my own.

As with many topics like this, people's opinions tend to be strong and emotional.

That said, I'll modify this as you make a fair point. I'll edit now to be more generalised

Not ashamed to say I voted 1, I just see it as we do all this now and hopefully get it out the way, infection rate goes down and we can enjoy the rest of the year and those affected can get their life back on track asap, I would hate to think this going on and on and a lockdown being enforced.

Quite surprised and disappointed at some of the comments on here, seems those who speak common sense are berated and labelled as twats :(

I don't get it.

Tim.

Not enough options available , none of the above fit my criteria so can't vote .
Hope this is the last of similar threads though , we don't need anymore to work out there are three distinct camps , unlikely that will change so its now a exercise in repetition which soon becomes tedium

Mr Wilks, whilst I agree absolutely I find the last paragraph amusing in the sense of how many times other subjects are endlessly repeated on this forum but I get your sentiment

I’m glad you’ve got the enthusiasm for those..after 3 years on the forum it feels like ground hog day on some of those..

I think I’ll do an article on the life and times of the N20 variant of the E89..that hopefully will keep me out of trouble..

Another vote for runflats :D

I’d rather stay indoors than drive on runflats. There you go, I’ve linked the two threads :)

Well done Smartbear

Bit late to the party & closest to runflats was mending a puncture on the push bike today - IMO had anyone previously watched this all the way through there is only one logical answer

Unfortunately 55 years of civil liberties is killing me to do otherwise
