Which Short/Quick shift kit?

Installed the Buckley 06 gear knob, and massive difference. I'm now thinking of getting a short shifter to get rid of the typical BMW long throw. It's always been a pet hate of mine on all my Beemers.
Seen some cheapies on fleabay. Are they any good? And does it fill the gap on changing gear?

I’d be interested in this too, especially if it improves the change from 1st to 2nd.

I’ve seen a few advertised on eBay but they’re either for the Z4M or LHD models :(
 
I have the UUC one on my M and would recommend it. Seems they do one for 3.0si/i :)

Mr Alan; Buckley06 is a member on here, and made some beautiful hand-turned, weighted short gear knobs. I have one and love it, but I don’t think he’s making more anytime soon. Look under discounts and services a little further down the index list for details
