Thanks Andy, thats interesting that BMW have steered away from them this time. I read that the M40i hadn't got them but wasn't sure about the rest of the range.Argyll Andy said:Zed Baron said:Just out of interest are the G29's fitted with runflats?
No, they’re not, normal Michelin pilot SuperSports iirc![]()

What is it about 437s that make you think they would not work buddy? most wheels will take runflats afaik, being a forged wheel they are stronger than cast so shouldn't really be an issue imhostep_change said:^^^^Hi chaps, any thoughts on that?

Ah, no idea on that Ron, you may well be right, kinda working on the assumption that most bmw wheels seem to take either type of tyre and mostbmw production cars are actually fitted with runflats.. maybe step change would be better off consulting his local tyre fitterronk said:mr.tourette said:What is it about 437s that make you think they would not work buddy? most wheels will take runflats afaik, being a forged wheel they are stronger than cast so shouldn't really be an issue imhostep_change said:^^^^Hi chaps, any thoughts on that?
I thought there was an additional rib around the rim of a runflat suitable wheel?
Yes that's my thought too. Hence me asking chaps. I wondered if @Mr Wilks might know.ronk said:mr.tourette said:What is it about 437s that make you think they would not work buddy? most wheels will take runflats afaik, being a forged wheel they are stronger than cast so shouldn't really be an issue imhostep_change said:^^^^Hi chaps, any thoughts on that?

It may indeed be best to see a tyre fitting guy and ask them about a run flat for a 9J/10J that does not rub.
According to Pete 437m did have runflats as standard on certain markets which you would expect with a bmw oe wheel.. still worth checking with local fitters thoughB21 said:437M were fitted with run flats in certain markets as OE.
