I did a bit of research before I changed mine and discovered that Textar are an OEM supplier for BMW and part of TMD who also make Pagid and Mintex.
Jurid are part of Bendix and make after-market OE Quality brakes. ATE are part of Continental Tyres and again are after-market OE quality.
Euro regulations prevent any pad sold for road use performing by + or - 15% differently to the original specification. So as long as it's a genuine Euro-stamped make from a known brand there is little chance that you will actually be able detect a difference in performance between pads for road use even if big claims are made for them or they come with daft names or colours
I bought Textar E pads which are high ceramic and low dust, feel the same as standard but a bit less dust and supposedly less disc wear but I can't say I can tell.
