Which radiator?

Hi all,

just wondering if there are any recommendations for radiators apart from the OEM ones?

I'm looking to do some track time from the spring onwards and will have an ESS TS2 kit fitted. I'm in the process of replacing the whole cooling system with radiator, water pump (EMP Stewart), expansion tank, hoses and coolant.

There seems to be a distinct lack of alloy aftermarket radiator options for a manual E85 so grateful for any suggestions.
 
Worth sending the folks at Mishimoto a message.

I'm pretty sure they have universal rads that can then me modified to work.

Would really love one for my coupe.
 
I've checked with PWR, Bimmeworld, Zionsville and Mishimoto but no luck.

Looks like an OEM Behr one will have to do.
 
Were you just after a rad with a thicker core for future upgrades? I don't see why a someone couldn't fab something up for you though. (Machine Monkey springs to mind here!)

Theoretically you could just stick a manual override switch on the fan and stick with it that way as a well as a lower temp thermostat if you're concerned.

Think that might be out of MM's reach. Need a rad specialist to fab something up.
