The insurance is due on the ///M soon and it's looking like staying with my current provider Classic Line or Admiral.

On the face of it there is £50 in it with Admiral being the cheaper, but my current provider includes Breakdown Cover and the excess is £100 cheaper.

I'm not to worried about the breakdown cover, they include it FOC and they were the cheapest last year hence why I have it.

Which would you go for?

Going to RAC for legal cover as I can get joint cover for £25 so reduced premium by 50%

Premium is £50 more expensive to insure a £100 excess. That would be madness !!

Got to go with the cheaper i reckon. Admiral are not too bad for customer service in my opinion. Been with them a while and they always seem helpful on the phone.

Mods - Not sure actually. My car is essentially standard, but an interesting question- would you declare different tyre brand to factory/intravee/yellowstuff pads/zhp?

IIRC think redzedfour was with admiral and they wouldn't even consider allowing him to fit a strutbrace.

If classicline have no issues, they may then be the better option
