Aston Martin, Lambo, AMG, Vette, Audi. If the Audi were an R10, i'd take it befor the vette.
 
It would be the Audi. Day to day ease, nice looks and less problems than the others. I just dont think like a rich person :D
 
ZR1 nice, but LHD on UK roads wouldn't be much use (for me)

AM DBS, depreciation will hurt... ouch!

LP640, ideal for small Italians, but at 6ft/15st I found it a tad too small inside.

SL65 AMG, probably going too fast at 3/10ths on the road. Hmmmm.


So, R8 for me :)

Sounds stupid, but I think it'd be the one I could go out and drive and enjoy on UK roads any day of the year, and get a lot from it without going TOO fast etc... also going to be cheaper to own in the long run by a long way!
 
Gallardo LP560 instead of the Murci. Then a Bentley with the change for days when I don't want to race everyone.

R8s are lovely, but after seriously thinking of buying one after my TVR they are simply too big - 2.029 M wide on our country lanes !?!

Im shocked.. Lambo every time.. wouldn't even turn my head at the others, I see R8's most days, tonnes of DB9/AMV8's and millions of SL350s. Obviously not the same models but all brand dilution - something the Lambo will never get.

Corvette may be quick, but there's really nothing else about it at all which gets my hairs up.
 
Having watched the Aston team pull a credible fourth at this years Le Mans, in a car that was only built in December, I now want an Aston so badly it hurts (ahem).

The 'vettes do sound great (also experienced at Le Mans), and I reckon I'd live with the inconvenience of the left hooker for the the noise alone.

The Lambo would be next. I still love the fact that the owner of a tractor factory got so narked with Enzo's snobbery that he launched his own car comapny. Would have to be the SV though.

The R8 is fabuously engineered, and a great drive (the only one of these I've actually driven)- but a bit too polished.

Lastly the Merc. Apologies to all - but the Marque really doesn't do anything for me anymore.

Even my girlfriend (who is also a bit of a petrol head) says that women don't look right driving Astons! :wink:
 
The only one I haven't seen with my naked eye was the SL Black. But from the other choices... the ONLY one that made me look for kleenex was the DBS. Gawd that car is so tight :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
