which one is genuine?

doesn't look dodgy to me, I often look through other's adverts when listing an item to see what I should include. I don't usually copy and paste their description but I don't have a problem with it.

actually, just noticed he's nicked the pictures too.

I'm not happy about that. definitely wouldn't buy it now. Good spot Navid

yes agree with what you say Chris, about how to describe your item by using other people's listing as a guide not to completely copy/paste and the photos

I am sure the complete cover from BMW dealer is £114 not £229 anyway :D

Not good to copy like that. Against Ebay rules and if reported the offender ad gets removed and repeat offenders banned

Funnily enough, I have just returned from an anti counterfeit group meeting held at the Emirates Statium (ya boo sucks)

For the 1st time BMW had a presence there with a display of fake BMW stuff. Brake pads, filters, BMW bonnet roundels, CD holders, silk scarves etc.

Believe it or not, there is no brand protection manager here in the UK at present, and will not be until January when they start looking for one.

The following link gives an idea of sorts of items faked. At the end is an email address you can send a query to.
