WHICH ONE IS BEST BLUE OR BLACK

The black WILL be a nightmare to keep clean, but ultimately if it's the colour you want, it'll be worth it.

I am extremely anal about keeping my car clean, and I used to clean mine once a week. Most of the time, you could barely tell the difference. I reckon you'd get away with fortnightly washing if you got the Montego one, but the black one (especially the interior) is lovely.

Black looks more aggressive, blue looks more classy. What interior is in the blue one?

Nope, get the black one. You'll thank me in the long run - that dash is horrible.

It is, which is why you should get the piano black. Not a cheap option, which is why it was rarely spec'd (£400 when new), but it makes the interior far more modern!

Also, the leather is much more expensive, too.

im not comfortable with the black now everyone who says they have had black cars says they never look clean get dirty easy and blue looks just as good

That is very true. I'd never have a black car again after the A1 (although that was non-metallic). Even straight after cleaning, it never looked properly clean.

I dont think Ive ever known anyone as indecisive as you allpine99. Last week you were contemplating a red one and a grey one. Do you really know what you want? lol.

The two cars are worlds apart. The black one stands out from the crowd, has better interior both dash and seats and its a manual. Yeah its harder to keep clean but when they are clean they look absolutely stunning. The blue is just ordinary and plain and above all else an autospastic.

My sapphire black has individual interior. Exactly the same as that but mine is phoenix yellow and anthracite. I love it and to me is what sets it apart from every other zed with black, red, cream leather etc.

Just make your mind up and get one bought :P

You have put alot of time and thought into buying one.I am sure you would put in as much time maintaining the car, so the colour and cleaning intervals is not such a high consideration.GET THE BLACK ONE

x2 mate. Black one all the way

i know im being undecisive im sorry , but are you not just saying black because you have one yourself have you seen the montego blue in real life and not just pics , need to make my mind up before morning

No need to apologise, you've got to make the right choice. Honestly I am saying black because I whole heartedly beleive that this the best car and colour combination out of the two above cars. I have seen the montego blue in real life, infact I went to look at one before I bought my current car. The moment I saw it I knew it wasnt for me, for the reasons ive stated previously. IMO it cheapens the look of the car. But that is only my opinion. At the end of the day you have got to live with your decision and the weekly washing task :P

When you look at the pics above and compare the two cars side by side then there is no contest... not in my eyes anyway and I think from reading other peoples replies, not in their eyes either.

Do the right thing :D

My old zed was auto... It is a good box. Alot better than my previous Audi DSG box to be honest but I didnt feel like I was part of the car.. You cant beat a good stick shift.. :D

i have had both auto and manual in the 3 litre straight six albeit in a 330ci clubsport and i dont mind either manual more fun but auto just as good with kickdown so thats not an issue you cant say that this colour is not nice

never driven a manual z4, but my golf is manual, i much prefer auto, i am lazy

a few years back auto's were sluggish, in the zed it changes faster than most people can in there manuals, its very smooth
