which oil?

okay, so I'm getting the orange oil telltale after I turn the ignition of, which means top up oil? but i only get it sometimes...

anyway, so I need to top up my oil, but I don't know what viscosity it is, is there anyway of finding out, or do i need an oil change to make sure?

it should be 5w-30 or 0w-40 bmw LL01 spec oil. i'm pretty sure you can top it up with any kind of BMW LL01 approved oil. ask your dealer what oil they use if you wanna be safe!
