Whilst painting my front caliper earlier ( after struggling to get the wheel off as it was rusted on) , I noticed that my brake disc has seen better days ( 62,000 on a 2007 Coupe) and got me thinking about replacing.
Not sure what to go for- standard discs again or some drilled/grooved jobs? I had some EBC discs years ago on an Impreza and they seemed pretty good ( though not sure they're any better than standard particularly as I am not doing any track work.)
Also looking to get some low-dust pads as I am fed up with the wheels being black again so soon after cleaning even with brake dust guard that still lets a fair bit stick although it easier to remove than not applying it.
So what do folks recommend for new discs and are something like EBC yellowstuff pads any good- both in braking and low dust!
