Which Members have Carly and Where?

Thought I'd kick start this one as quite a few people have been discussing coding options on this other thread.

A few other posts have been flying around, one notably in the buy and sell section offering coding services. But I figured it would be nice to have somewhere central showing members and their areas who would like to offer this service. The app and the adapter is a fair outlay and it could be a good opportunity to test the app (lets be honest the lite version doesn't really let you get a feel for the app) before purchase. Or simply for those one off codes!

Also worth mentioning that you can code other cars too so if you have a 3 Series, etc! :)

If anyone is near Glasgow I would be interested. Was just about to shell out £100 (need 2 OBD readers for 2 different cars as well as the app). I noticed there is a cheaper third party OBD reader though for only £20

RyanB88, I'm assuming you have the N52 engine in your Z4 based on your signature.... do the parameters display anything on your Carly? I can't get anything on my 3.0si Coupe, tech support are apparently resolving it but wondered if any other N52 owners can use that function on theirs? I'm using iOs version of Carly.
 
More of a request: I'm in Leamington Spa and I would like to do a little bit of coding if someone is willing to lend their services please :oops: :roll:

Thought I was the only one with this issue.... I gave up on it lol

All I use mine for is coding and fault codes really. I've coded so many of my friends and family members cars and never had a problem with the parameters apart from on my e85 3.0 si (n52)
 
Haha... no, you're not alone! Glad to hear it's not just my car parameter-less.

I've pretty much given up too, thought i was finally getting somewhere with tech support but all quiet again now, apparently it'll be resolved in a future release but i'm not holding my breath!

I only have the bluetooth dongle which I don't think works with the E85/86 unless somebody knows different

I don't mean to hijack the thread so to speak, but has anyone managed to get the Carly app to work with any adapter other than their own?

I have an iPhone and a PLX Kiwi 2 (WiFi), and more recently the PLX Kiwi 3. Every other OBD app works perfectly... Carly however doesn't want to know. It says it's connected to the adapter but says no response from vehicle and gives up. I really don't want to have to buy yet another friggin adapter!
