Which magazine: best convertibles

Typical ill conceived Which test though, how can you compare a 2 seater with a 4 seater with a boulevard cruiser? Different markets.

And, where is the MX5?

Also. Why on earth would the 'emissions scandal' mean that the A5 and golf Cab be excluded?

And this? :)

Twice the price & twice the running costs makes that a unfair fight  certainly a nice motor though & looks stunning out on the road :driving: id love one but pretty sure they haven't gone sub £20k yet

Which is known for rubbish tests unfortunately. The days of proper consumer test they used to do has long gone. I can't believe the poor quality of their tests and what makes something good. They probably included the distance to the dealer as a major factor or so.

Porsche have just opened a dealership in Wolverhampton... I can just see the sales team standing around watching the clock and praying someone will visit soon  :poke:

Lot of money in Wolverhampton, they are just tight, very careful where and when to spend money.
The only trouble with Porches, they all look a bit dated, no mater how well they perform.
Even Audi TT looks old.

I would have to question the legitimacy of any top trumps of convertibles that doesn't have either the MX5 or Boxster in it's top 5, to have neither I would find incredulous.

Another one http://www.whatcar.com/news/best-and-worst-sports-cars-for-less-than-60k-2016/, this one is also suspect, I'm not sure I would classify half of them as a sports cars, a four door saloon does not a sports car make, just because the marketing departments of the car maker says it's so :headbang:

There's an interesting article http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a28225/sports-car-definition/ here, on one persons definitions which I broadly agree with, the MGB classification reminds of endless arguments over the e86 on here....

Only 2 stars for seat comfort clearly the one they tested never had sports seats !

Gets a 5 star for reliability though..
