Which LED Sidelights for 3.0si Sport?

Been doing a bit of research on changing the sidelights on the si Sports and it looks like they're a dealer job...

Have to buy it as an assembly, bulb + holder

These are the bulbs:

But, can you remove the bulbs from the existing holder? And just change them to white LED ones?
I've read that some people have difficulty doing this - some people struggle to remove the bulb, some get the bulb warning light..
Any advice on which correct LED bulbs to change to? And how to remove bulb from holder?

If you do a search there is a guide how to drill out the bulb from the housing, I haven't done it myself though.

It's for the headlights with halo sidelights, sounds like yours has normal headlights, maybe you have an SE spec e86?

Si also came with normal headlights.
