Ultimately an unfair poll as there are more roadie owners due to the coupe being more exclusive :poke:

Shouldn't the vote not be, if you were to swap your zed for any zed from the forum what/whose would it be?

Even then I'd be torn between beeduds and dubseds :driving:

My thoughts too. Coupe is far more special to own, but I miss roof-down drives, even in winter.

I would have voted roadster, roof down, before owning a coupe.
 
I first went roadster, roof down and then changed my mind to a coupe.

Not sure now, can I have another go?

Well you could ask why the majority of Z4 owners have roadsters - I would suggest that indicates a preference, so the poll will reflect the choices that owners have already made? :wink:

Actually that *is* pretty nice... the best example I've seen by far. Most others I've seen it looks like the hard top was an after thought. :thumbsup:

Just look at the production figures.

Even if you go by the Wiki figures which are not likely accurate:

Over the Z4's life cycle, 197,950 vehicles had been produced, with 180,856 roadsters and 17,094 coupés.

So theres your answer. There are simply 10 times as many roadsters as coupes, they are also cheaper. The preference you refer to is ease of choice and cheaper cost.

So we have lots of roadster owners out there who would have much preferred a coupe, but who have settled for 2nd best. If thats true then let them vote for the Coupe :wink:

Thats a fair comment and I am interested in the results, I just think that ownership skews your perception.

i think maybe the best people to judge are those who have both, so in my opinion hehe:

1st the coupe without question is the best looking
2nd the roadster with the top down
3rd the tin top with the roof down
4th the tin top with roof up
5th the ugliest of them all is the roadster with roof up - makes me cringe
