Oooh nice article!! Looks as though the N54 is still the daddy for low lag and high rpm, and those curves look as though the N55 wouldn't see as much gain from a remap in the peak BHP area. Is this a cost cutter for BMW perhaps?
Hmm it's an interesting thought but with 420 ponies I would doubt it, 'cos they'll add a more aggresively geared final drive that will help mitigate the lower torque of the V8.
