Which exhaust for the 3.0i? RPI, Supersprint, Remus etc..

bigcoose, what are the specs for your exhaust? Single or dual inlet? Inlet/outlet sizes? Backbox only? tks Sounds good. :thumbsup:
 
to be honest,im not really sure.i think it is twin pipes all the way from the cat and about 76mm tube used with a single box.there are a few more pics on my photobucket that might help a bit.sorry if thats a bit vague. :roll:

I did check out your photobucket pics, some help there. If I understand: twin pipes from the cats into a single 76mm tube into a single box with dual outlets. Can you measure the diameter of the outlet pipes (they look significantly smaller then the tips) and the length of the can? On a scale of 1 to 10, ten being very loud and 5 being factory level sound level, how loud is yours? Sorry for all the questions, I would like to try to duplicate a similar setup/sound for mine. Tks.
 
Gah! They are out of stock on the Miltek, so i'm looking at Remus and miltek now..

BigCoose: Does your exhaust "pop" and "crackle" sometimes? Also is it noticeable in a busy street?
 
it does pop back sometimes,depends on how ya feather the accelerator as i can make it do it all the time :wink: it is just a deep rumble at very low revs round town then opens up nicely when you put your foot down.certainly turns heads :evil:

The guys at blueflame did not get back to and wanted me to chase them for the exhaust. :x

Well i put my money where my mouth is. I went elsewhere and got a Remus....

Hopefully it should be fited be next wekend! :P

Is the Remus loud enough with the sound gen mod? Or is it worthwhile looking at a resonator delete also?

thats not good sales service....i dont blame you at all.im sure you will be well happy with the remus when its fitted :thumbsup: :driving:

Any chance of getting a new video? I am very close to going for a blueflame exhaust but would like to hear more clips if you get a spare 5 minutes!
 
Hi,

I looked at Miltek too, none around now, they made it in 2005, but noone seemed interested so they discontinued it :(
