Which engine do I have

I have a 53 plate 2.5i automatic zed and reading some vey useful information on this forum I noticed that I could have one of two engines either a M54 or N52, how do I find out which engine I have.

Apologies if I could of fond this out somewhere else on the forum without asking the question.

That'll be an M54, N52 was later

As previously posted, the N52 was introduced in some of the 2006 zeds
