Which Bypass pipes

Right I'm confused....

"360mm or 410mm"

I assume that's the length, it's obviously not the internal or external pipe diameter. Does anyone know what internal pipe diameter is.

Yes, I would like to know this as well.

I've found out since the outer diameter is 3/4 of an inch. Not sure what the inner diameter is yet.

The 360mm or 410mm is just the length. The Z4M needs 410mm, the 3.0 360mm, I think!!

Love mine, made a lovely difference in the sound, no drone and growls when pressing on and pops when off the throttle, great mod at a very affordable price

I went for 3/4" diameter, not sure on the length as they were from the group buy and just got delivered

Love to see some 360mm pipes fit under your car :p

I am correct in thinking you add one pipe per each back box don't you? So you would buy a pair?

Pretty sure you can add two per BB if you want to. Think some here have put two on to a 3.0si, which has just one BB.

I imagine that might be fairly loud!

I might order some tomorrow. Just need to try and find somewhere to fit them then!

Can't argue with that ha ha. I'm still weighing it up against a new cat back system.

I'm sure you'll find somewhere, where are you?

Ignore the "where are you?" bit.

Anyone know a place in surrey they would recommend to get this done with? And a rough cost?

Any competent garage can do this, its a case of removing the boxes, drilling 2 holes and welding the bypass pipes in place, takes about an hour all in

I think the hard bit is finding a garage that won't rip you off. A few I have spoke to won't give a price, but an hourly rate. How do you know they won't take 2 hours instead of one and take their time!

You cant blame them. Youre asking for bespoke work that may go wrong. Mine said 2 hours and then rang after an hour.

True, and giving a price for the job would be unfair, but an estimate should be possible.

If they said it would take x if all went went well, then you could use it as a guide. If they ha a problem and needed to do extra, that would also be understandable.

If they charged you four hours to do it without any problems, I would be extremly miffed considering it should take about 1 hour.

Ok sounds like surrey isn't going to get a recommendation, can anyone recommend somewhere that isn't too far afield of surrey? Ideally speaking from experience?

I found a couple of recommendations through PHs for garages, but not specifically for this mod. One place in London, which was near my girlfriends house called Solid Fabrications, and another place in Salisbury called Janspeed. Both specialist exhaust builders. Haven't done much at the moment as I am away working.
