Which Bosch wipers for E89?

I have the Bosch Flatblade retrofit AR530 left and AR500 to the right, works great!
Thats for a lefthand drive car so the other way around for a RH i think :)

Put your reg into euro car parts.

They are not exactly the same as BMW OEM.

I believe the bmw version is around £40-£50

If have, but ECP recommends 21" each side when, in fact, it's 21" driver's side (UK) and 20" passenger's.
 
I just got the 21/21 kit from ECP and they fit perfectly. Spoiler goes below (facing the bonnet) and the passenger wiper is curved with the ends facing upwards.

Theres no such thing for standard E89 wipers, they are invertible!

If you got the same wipers as me, the Clip thingy in the centre of the Drivers Side wiper needed flipping around to allow the spoiler to face downward - this is because the spoiler fouls on the clip preventing it to be spun around. The Passenger side didnt need this as it has 360 degree free movement.

Good! Strangely, though, both Halfrauds and my local indy shop say 21" driver's side and 20" passenger's. :? Online, though, everyone seems to say 21" both sides.
 
I tried every combination under the sun. The last inch of the Bosch ones didn't sit flat against the windscreen (on the passenger side) and it really bothered me. :rofl:

In the end, went to the dealership and purchased the genuine ones.

That's what I did too. I tried buying the suggested replacement from wiperblades.co.uk which ended up being the same as people suggest in thsi thread, they didn't git quite right so I returned them and just got them from the dealership.

I'm all for working out the part manufacturer and buying the unbranded OE equivalent but with wipers it seems the OEM versions don't fit and it's not possible to buy the unbranded OE part.

Absolutely. I tried a few different combinations mentioned here and on other forums. In the end, I wasted a load of time and money. Should have gone direct to BMW in the first place. It's all about that last inch! :rofl:
