Which black grills do I need?!

With the impending arrival of my Z4 coupe Ive decided I need some black grills, want no chrome left in the grill area. Will I need this? http://mstyle-px.rtrk.co.uk/acatalog/info_B09ZZ019.html

Looks like the first link is the parts you need the second link look just like covers for the chrome.

Just to add that being the 3.0 your grills will be chrome with platinum slats so the second link would just cover the chrome part. If you want all black it's the first link.

I'm just doing my own black grills. Got some chrome and black grills from a smaller engine Z and have painted the chrome gloss black like the current BMW performance jobs.

Don't paint them, wrap them! I did it in 30 minutes and it's fully reversible

I tried wrapping mine but I made an arse of it on 2 attempts. Painted a cheap spare set instead.

personal choice of course but i would stick hold of your original's , black on black is a acquired taste & you may not want to keep it that way :?

Wrapping takes patience and its more durable than painted surfaces where they chip.

Either wrap or paint with plastidip which won't chip :wink:

Bought my all-black grills from eBay, only £25 iirc, and very good quality too.

I wanted to keep the chrome outer on mine so I sprayed the grill with plasti dip, so far so good! I did it about 2 months ago and are still looking great
