You've been such great helpers guys. I managed to resolve the problem largely in part to this forum. I visited the rims earlier and managed to take a look at the backs of them. They are indeed X3 17"x8" and the offset was 1mm out, which is likely unnoticeable. The deal is going through and you have kept us all on track. Cheers!
