That looks to me like the steering column plastic cover

Cheers guys, looks like the bit from the bottom of the rad.
I think it probably got totalled a few week back when I crashed into a foot and a bit of water down a country lane at night.
Road was flooded and it didn't look it.

Does look like it belongs on the radiator. That was my thought earlier but it didn't post the message

I can confirm this is indeed the lower radiator guard plate.
I can also confirm a foot and a half of water will remove it, as I removed mine in about a foot of water... :roll:
